SUMMER RESIDENCY SHOWCASE 2025

Ngoc Ha is a Vietnamese visual artist based in Charlotte North Carolina primarily working in painting and printmaking. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts with a concentration in Printmaking & Drawing from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. Drawing inspiration by collecting observed and personal experiences, she incorporates this into her visual language. 

“During this residency, I have been exploring how to reconstruct the impression of a memory. Moments often overlooked, which tend to dissolve, yet I strongly feel they reflect my own sense of self. I use these tools of expression to confront my own alienation. By working with film and painting, I aim to find ways to reimagine representation. How can an immaterial moment be described through minimal forms and colors? How can change within oneself be represented?”
