ANNA KENAR

Anna Kenar was born and raised in Poland. Her upbringing and early education strongly influence her themes and aesthetics, which relate to the ideas of human condition. Kenar received her MFA in Printmaking from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois, and her BA in History from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois. Her work has been shown nationally and internationally, and is a part of several collections, including Northern Arizona University Art Museum in Flagstaff, AZ and the City of Raleigh’s Municipal Art Collection in Raleigh, NC. Anna Kenar is a lecturer in the Department of Art and Art History at UNC - Charlotte.
