Social Objects: Our world is shaped by social encounters and the objects that mediate our interactions. We extend a hand, employ lenses as a mirror, strain to listen above the din, become the elephant in the room, reconfigure our digital selves, leave a penny, take a penny, mend histories, and imagine futures. The six artists participating in Social Objects rely on networks, exchange, and performance to produce artwork in dialogue with others.
