Perspectives
This exhibition explores how perception is shaped by personal history and shared experience. The works emphasize relationships. Drawing on John Berger’s assertion that “the way we see things is affected by what we know or what we believe,”. The work invites the observer to become an active participant whose presence completes the piece. Through a range of mediums, the exhibition creates an immersive, evolving environment that is continually reshaped by those who move through it. While each viewer encounters the work through their own perspective the exhibition highlights the complexity of lived experience and the ways collective memory and shared social space connect us, revealing how we are often more alike than we are different.
