Support

Goodyear Arts depends on gifts of all sizes to continue our work of providing artists with time, space, money, and community and local art audiences access to year-round free arts programming. Making a direct contribution to Goodyear Arts is the most impactful way to support our work now and into the future. Goodyear Arts is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

The videos in the gallery below feature Goodyear-affiliated artists discussing the impact of the organization on them and the broader Charlotte community. Further down on this page, is an acknowledgement of the individuals and organizations who have supported our mission.

As the artists attest, your generosity makes it possible for Goodyear Arts to:
  • Provide local artists with paid residency opportunities
  • Provide stipends to curators who organize free, accessible public exhibitions
  • Provide stipends to performers to showcase their work
  • Provide local artists free use of Project Studios to pursue specific projects
  • Provide free studio and rehearsal space to 40+ alumni artists
  • Cultivate our space in ways that facilitate artistic collaboration
  • Keep our doors open to the public during weekly open hours

Thank You

Goodyear Arts is sustained by support from individual patrons and local, regional, and national granting bodies. Our current space is generously donated by ATCO Properties, the developer of Camp North End. Annual support from the City of Charlotte assists with operating expenses. Over a ten-year period, programming support has come from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Knight Foundation, the North Carolina Arts Council, the Women’s Impact Fund, and the Arts and Science Council as well as the Elizabeth Firestone Graham Foundation, Rogers Builders, Little Diversified Architectural Consulting, the Trexler Foundation, Charlotte Magazine, PURE Realty, and CLT Paint Cures.

We are grateful for the ongoing support of these locally-owned businesses.
