Join us for an artist talk with the featured artists, hosted by curator Mariah Scott. Cloud of Witnesses explores lineage, legacy, and ancestral presence – the idea that we are shaped by those who came before us, carrying not only generational trauma but also generations of gifts, joy, care, creativity, and love. Inspired by Hebrews 12:1, this exhibition honors the truth that we never stand alone; we stand surrounded by memory, witness, and inheritance. Find out how Scott honors her late mentor, Stephanie McCall, through the exhibition and how each artist explored the themes of memory and legacy in their work.
