HYPER-BOIL

HYPER-BOIL brings together representative artists from Winthrop University’s undergraduate and alumni populations to look inward towards ourselves and outward towards our society in humorous, grotesque, and transcendental works. These artists profoundly challenge our societal understanding of the self, as paraded by advertising psychologists, mega corporations, and media influencers, by poking fun, expanding perception, and cutting away at expectations to reveal the depths of the inner self.
